The Idea
A virtual group exhibition pavilion I designed and co-curated with Ronnie Karfiol for the 5th edition of The Wrong Biennale. The starting point was Dante's Purgatorio, the place in between, where you wait.
The pavilion opened on 1 November 2021 and stayed online until 1 March 2022.

How It Works
The pavilion was built as an interactive environment in which the viewer is not only watching but acting as a 'spect-actor': moving through the space, choosing where to go, seeing what their route reveals. That structure turned waiting, the subject of the work, into something the visitor produces themselves.
Alongside the full version we built a dedicated one for older phones with small screens, so that getting into the exhibition did not depend on the device in your hand.
