Israel National Museum - Bside
Created, designed, and curated Bside, an experimental augmented reality (AR) project, which revolutionized the way museum exhibitions are experienced by adding a virtual layer to existing displays. This "physical-virtual gallery" integrated digital artworks directly onto permanent physical exhibits, fostering a unique dialogue between traditional and contemporary digital art forms.

I led the creation of the platform's interfaces and interaction flows that blended the physical and virtual experiences. The design process prioritized user engagement, ensuring that the AR features felt natural and immersive while maintaining accessibility for a wide audience. Through thoughtful user testing and iteration, the project achieved a balance between innovation and usability, enhancing how visitors interact with both physical and digital artworks.
Bside also challenged conventional exhibition narratives by empowering emerging artists to showcase their work in prestigious venues alongside established collections. This dual-layered approach allowed museums to present dynamic, hybrid exhibitions, engaging new audiences through cutting-edge technology while demonstrating the potential of AR to transform the cultural landscape.
